Artemia Salina: The Latin name of Brine Shrimps
Carapace: Protective shell
Crustaceans: Having and external skeleton or shell
Detritus: Loose materials
Diapause: Growth and Development is temporarily halted
Embryo: The first state of anything eg Unhatched young
Hermaphrodite: An animal in which the characteristics of both sexes are really or apparently combined
Predation: Hunting other animals for food
Permian Period: 200 Million years ago
Phototaxis: The way a creature is stimulated by light.  Demonstration.
Suspended Animation: See Diapause
Specific Gravity: The Relative Density of an object.
Trilobite: A not so distant ancestor of Triops
Triop: Greek meaning 'Three eyes'

Triops:  They look just like  Horseshoe Crabs,  but somewhat smaller!
